When Gerald had been given the details of Cillian Quinn’s mission, he didn’t quite believe it. But the more he thought about it, the more it made sense. Kidnap the Pokemon from the Verdanturf Town PokéCenter. It was a low-risk job with a high return-yield if they succeeded. But success was not necessarily the only objective of today's mission. The Second objective was giving this team of grunts hands-on experience, and given the Verdanturf’s quiet nature they weren’t expecting a lot of security that could meddle with that.

But being careful was still needed. The three other grunts he had been put in charge of were rookies after all, barely out of bootcamp. But even so, he had taken Cillian Quinn’s words to heart. He had learned their names, learned their skills and now was the time to apply that.

Gerald had taken a point on the roof of a building a little bit away. He watched over the area from the shadows and darkness of the night. Camouflaged in a black attire with a mask and all hiding his identity. The other grunts had been similarly outfitted.

Grunt Nr.4 had taken point on an opposing roof, she was supposed to cover the places he did not see.

Meanwhile there were two on the ground, Grunt Nr. 2 was preparing the break in in the backside of the PokéCenter. They were going to cut a hole in the wall. Not the most sophisticated method but it would surely work.

Grunt Nr. 3 was setting a Voltorb perimeter. “The Voltorb Perimeter has been placed.” Grunt Nr. 3 informed through their line of communication.

“Good, regroup with Nr. 2 and prepare to breach.” Gerald responded. Yet there was this sinking feeling that this was all going far too easily.
